Tom Goldston Roofing | Contractor Spotlight

PABCO® Roofing Products is pleased to introduce one of our Preferred Contractors, Tom Goldston of Tom Goldston Roofing as our July Contractor in the Spotlight. Tom and his wife Jeannie have operated their Gardnerville, Nevada roofing company since 1999 and currently have 12 full time employees. Tom began his career in roofing as a teenager working for his father. He uses the skills he learned during that time to run all of the operations of the business. Jeannie handles the office and all of the accounting.

Besides being a second generation roofer, Tom is also an avid hunter and fisherman. He recently fulfilled a long-time by goal by taking a guided six day horseback hunting trip in the rugged mountains of Eastern Nevada. He followed that up with an exciting fishing excursion in Mexico where he landed a 195 lb. tuna; the largest tuna Tom has ever caught. Tom credits his wife as being the biggest supporter of his business and personal goals. He shared that “without Jeannie, none of my dreams would be possible.”

Running a successful business and enjoying outdoor activities would leave little time for most people, but Tom and Jeannie make it a priority to give back to their community. They enjoy sponsoring local charities and events, such as The Kids Annual Fishing Derby, several holiday food drives, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Fireman’s Fund, Shrine Circus, and the Family Support Council. All of this while being active in the various sport leagues in which their children participated.

Professionally, Tom and Jeannie have long been supporters of PABCO because of the warranty coverage, product quality, and the personal service that they receive. A recent roofing project called for a shake-like roof on a beautiful new home. Since the location was in the high desert of Nevada, a high wind rating, Class “A” fire resistance, and limited lifetime warranty were required.
